Anja Slibar is an illustrator based in Brooklyn, New York. She designs products, works on custom projects, and collaborates with like-minded brands and people.
Her clients include The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Refinery29, Urban Outfitters, Nylon Magazine, Bustle Magazine, Third Man Records, and Island Records.
In 2010, she graduated from the Academy of Art and Design in Slovenia with a degree in graphic design. Soon after graduating ( BA ) she realized that she was more interested in illustration than anything else. Anja continued her education at one of the best universities in her field, Aalto College of Arts and Design in Helsinki, Finland, where she specialized in illustration.
Her style is a blend of minimalist design and detailed ink drawing, a Greek sense of line and movement, and black work - but with something feminine pulsing through this visual vocabulary and stretching the line.
